AuctionInc is pleased to announce that we have enhanced our support for Coupons with a much-requested feature:  the ability to restrict your coupons to specified item/s.  By creating "Item Groups" which are linked to both your coupons and your items, you can restrict your coupons to your selected items.

Here's how to use it:

• First, define one or more Item Groups on our new Item Groups form.
• Second, create a new coupon code (or modify an existing one) and link it to one or more item groups.
• You can either "include" the item group or "exclude" the group.
• For new items, use the HTML Wizard to generate your Add to Cart buttons and link your item to the appropriate Item Group.

That's it!

If you want to add Item Groups to existing items, simply add this new form field directly to your item's Add to Cart HTML:

<INPUT TYPE="hidden" NAME="item_group" VALUE="your item group name">
