USPS Flat Rate Packages

USPS Priority Mail offers Flat Rate pricing (using their boxes) for Domestic and Internatonal Priority service regardless of the destination or package weight (well, almost-- for international services there is a 20 lb weight limit for the regular and large box, and a 4 lb limit for the small box). The only qualification is that your item/s can fit into one of the flat rate boxes.

This flat rate pricing is probably the best deal in package delivery.

AuctionInc will determine the rate for your package based both on the flat rate (if qualified) and on the calculated rate, and display whichever rate is the less expensive.

By selecting this option, the shipping calculator will offer the appropriate flat rate price for Priority Mail if all of the following conditions are met, once our packaging engine has created packages for all the items in the cart:

• You have listed dimensions for all the items in the package
• The dimensions of the package fit into dimensions of one of the flat rate boxes (see below)
• If the destination is international, the package does not exceed the box weight limit
• The flat rate is less than the calculated rate based on the item weight.

The flat rate boxes are available in four sizes:

• Small Flat Rate Box
  8-5/8 x 5-3/8 x 1-5/8 inches (SFRB)
  

• Regular Flat Rate Box One
  11 x 8-1/2 x 5-1/5 inches (FRB1)
  

• Regular Flat Rate Box Two
  11-7/8 x 3-3/8 x 13-5/8 inches (FRB2)
  

• Large Flat Rate Box
  12 x 12 x 5-1/2 inches (LFRB)
  (50% larger than the regular boxes).

If you are subscribed to our ShopCart, your customer has selected Priority Mail, and at least one package in the order qualifies for one of the above flat rat boxes, you will see either "SFRB", "FRB1", "FRB2" or "LFRB" in our shipping "item" in the PayPal order.
